!!!SOLD!!! - Vibiemme Domobar Piccolo FS (too many machines) $600 [MELB]

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Had several Vibiemme machines over the years - all good - consistent E61 quality.
This one requires a few more seconds of patience for milk drinkers, but quality just as good.
Has the advantage of a quicker warm up.
Has a new pump and thermostat.
Welcome to give it a test run (in SE Melb)

Woops - haven't been looking at this forum.
Yes - machine available and the weekend fine for a test
Would ship to Brisbane, but would require some serious packing, and expense.

Hi Ronslam, I'm interested in the baby Domobar. Are you able to add some more images showing more of the condition of the unit? For example, showing:
    - up under the group head showing the shower cap inserted and removed
    - underneath the grate showing the waste water catchment
    - the main body internals, including wiring, piping, boiler and pump

Could you also give a brief indication of the service report and what they did to the machine (total strip down and descale and clean inside the boiler?), and any other details that reflect its condition, including how you maintained it?

I'm in Brisbane and won't be able to come down to check it out. Packing would require some detailed attention but I've shipped 28kg boxes from Sydney-to-Brisbane via Pack and Send (online, home pickup) for around $50-$60 each. 30kg is the limit for packages in Australia. Anything over requires a lifting machine and hoist on the back of a truck, and/or two drivers.

    Thanks!

Sorry - not prepared to strip it down.
Just to be clear - pump and thermostat replaced by me - pretty straightforward.
Machine works fine. I know you're in Brisbane. You're welcome to send someone around to pull a shot or two.
I cant tell you the condition of inside the boiler, but maybe someone out there will agree that Melbourne water is very soft and scale is not generally a problem.
I'd include a new unused Vibiemme shower (with gasket) if you want to replace it at some time
    Cheers Ron
ps - dont know where you would find an E61 machine around this price

I really canít believe this is not sold. For $600 I will take it and give it to a friend of mine on struggle street. No brainer.

@ronslam Sorry, I assumed that the service was done by a company and that they reported on the condition of the boiler, etc. No worries. I've since looked at videos of this great little machine and it seems like spare parts are inexpensive and available to pretty much replace just about everything in the machine. It's fully user serviceable which is just awesome.

I trust that the Piccolo will pull great shots. Typically, if are details I cannot see in online images I generally ask for close-ups.

It's also a good idea to include usage and condition details up front to head of questions and help people who might not be able to come in person.

    Thanks for your reply.
