!!!SOLD!!! - [MEL] FS: Baratza Sette 270Wi - As New - With Portafilter Drop Down Atta

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
This is one of those times where you upgrade because you've read too much on the internet - not because you needed to

For Sale is my as new ~6 month old Baratza Sette 270Wi. It has had no more than 7kg of beans through it (realistically, I'd say a couple of coffee's over 6kg.)

Purchased end of Jan '19. (Need to find the receipt)

Perfect condition, can't find any marks on it. Weighing function works great as long as there's more than ~10g of beans remaining in the hopper. If you attempt to single dose it will stop a couple of grams before it reaches the target weight. With this in mind, I'm generally within 0.1g of target weight.

The best thing I've done while I've had it is buy the official "Baratza Sette Drop Down Portafilter Accessory". For those of us who tend to dose a touch more than the rated size of the basket, it results in no mess/spillage. Prior I was having to grind into the large basket and tip in to the portafilter which added unnecessary steps. This makes life way better. But - if you don't need it, it's easily removed.

Haven't added any shims (was supplied with 2) and I hover around settings of 7-9 on my Profitec Pro 600. I've found it really consistent and have preferred it to the Compak K3 I had prior.

    Selling for $500

Pickup Seddon, Melbourne. Or will post at buyers expense.

Thanks Javaphile - yeah, looking at that thread, using my phone and a Mac wasn't the best combination to get the photos oriented right without editing!

    Here we go again.

The pics in post 5 looks great, the pics in post 4 however failed to attach properly. Try deleting them and then re-uploading them.
